Lampunvarjostimia paperinarusta - Lamp shades made of paper yarn

Jokin aika sitten kyllästyin totaalisesti vanhaan lampunvarjostimeeni (kermanvalkoinen kangas, ruskea-beiget hapsut, ikivanha...) ja päätin tehdä siitä paremman. Siihen tarvittiin vain paljon paperinarua, jonkin verran puuhelmiä ja muutama tippa liimaa. Kaikki metalliosat on peitetty paperinarulla.

Some time ago i got totally bored of my old lamp shade, which was cream white with brown and beige stripes. I made a "new" one of it with a lots of paper yarn, wooden pearls and some drops of glue. All of the metal parts are covered with paper yarn

Tämä varjostin oli  helppo päällystää koska siinä oli suorat reunat.
This lamp shade was easy to cover because it has a straight form.

Lamppu heittää hauskat varjot seinälle.

Nice shadows on the wall when you have light in this lamp.

Toinen varjostin olikin sitten aika paljon hankalampi piparkakkureunoineen, mutta aikani pähkäiltyäni selvitin senkin ongelman.
The other lamp shade was much more difficult with its curves, but after a quite long consideration I managed to cover this one, too.

Varjostimessa oli vain kaksi "poikkipuuta" halkaisijoina ylhäällä, tein loput paperinarusta. Myös tuo tummemman vihreä ympyrä on paperinarua. Onnistui se näinkin.
This lamp shade had only two diameters made of metal, I had to make the other ones of paper yarn. Also the darker green circle is made of paper yarn. It looks like everyone of the diameters were metal.

Tämä varjostin antaa ehkä vieläkin kauniimmat varjot seinälle, eikö?
